Responsible for maintaining equipment, buildings, and grounds. Troubleshoots and repairs production equipment to minimize down time. Ensures employee safety by making necessary changes and repairs to equipment.
This position pays between $18-22 per hour based on experience and is a 1st Shift Position (7am-3:30pm)
Overtime is required and is based upon business demands. This may include up to 9 hours per day M-F and as needed on Saturday/Sunday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities(The following statements describe the general nature of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management):
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on the facility, warehouse and office equipment, HVAC, vehicles, and fire prevention and electrical systems.
Installs new equipment, electrical upgrades up to 480 volts, and data cables.
Performs basic troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
Performs other maintenance and repairs, as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms and occasionally walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Must regularly push, pull or lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally push, pull or lift up to 40 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

High school graduate with equivalent of one to three years practical technical/vocational trades training and one to three years experience.
Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, and mechanical skills. Knowledge, skills, and experience in maintenance related jobs and procedures. Ability to troubleshoot HVAC.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively to managers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
